Casey has over nine years of web development and client management experience. He has managed web projects for large private and public sector organisations and Government departments across Australia. He values high quality design.
With over five years of professional web development experience and a passion for interaction design, Jonny is our frontend (user interface) development lead.
As a practicing street and new media artist, Jonny has a keen eye for visual details. If he's not at work programming, he's either eating eggs benny, painting drains, or programming at home.
Luke has over ten years’ experience as a designer after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He has received several design awards, had work featured in international publications and has completed many design projects for Mona. Luke brings a high-end artistic style to Takeflight’s design team.
Luke also runs his own t-shirt label and has had designs featured on many websites and blogs around the world.
Working in web development for seven years, Tim brings a depth of software and backend (systems) development knowledge to the team.
He has an appreciation for mathematical elegance and functional programming.
With five years working in the industry, Seb has brought robust software practices in both user interface and systems development to Takeflight.
Seb is passionate about making user experiences that are enjoyable and engaging from the client side through to the core of the product. He's probably the only software developer in Tasmania who doesn't use Twitter.
While still studying computing at University, Ducky made her start with web in early 2015. She loves it and continues to aspire to learn about all different areas. Her other great interests lay in Games Tech, HCI, GIS and pets. In her spare time she also loves to snowboard, sail, teach kids to code, and play games.
Ducky is in fact, not a duck and would prefer to fight 100 duck sized horses.
Liam formed an interest in computing at a very young age. Currently attending high school, Liam started work experience at Takeflight in August 2014 and has been employed since April 2015. He mostly works on backend development.
Liam enjoys creating functional modules which extend the capabilities of Wagtail beyond content entry. He is also a diehard Manchester United fan.

Freya has a way with words and is our go-to person for content writing and research. She possesses the perfect mix of creative and professional writing skills. Freya is a History graduate with a passion for museums, art and cultural heritage.
When not working for Takeflight she can be found at the museum or in the garden hanging out with her chickens.
